Coventry Blaze forward Curtis Huppe's defeat at the hands of Sheffield Steelers will be his last in Britain.
The 39-year-old has confirmed that he is retiring from hockey; so his final game was in the Play Off final which Steelers won to collect the trophy.

Huppe, who joined the Blaze last summer from Elite League rivals, Belfast Giants played a major pa
rt in helping the team to both the League and Knockout Cup trophies in the 2007/2008 season.

The 39-year-old played 60 competitive games, recording 37 goals and 39 assists.

"I'd like to thank everyone at the Coventry Blaze for an extremely memorable last season," Huppe told the club's official website.
