Train drivers call off strike

TRAIN drivers who voted to strike in a dispute over industrial relations have abandoned their industrial action after successful talks with management.
Crew based at Northern Rail's depots in the north west, who run services including stopping trains through the Hope Valley between Sheffield and Manchester, were due to walk out on Monday.

A normal timetable will now be operating.
