Sheffield's singer songwriter Eliot, who penned Blue hits Guilty, Supersexual and This Temptation, has been writing and recording new material with Lee.

Other confirmed guest stars , who will sing their hits with Eliot, who wrote them, include Fame Academy's Alistair Griffin, Kavana, Kenny Thomas, Scott and Abz from Five, and Lord Webber's How To Solve A Problem Like Maria finalist, Siobhan Dillon.

Siobhan, who has recorded her debut album at Eliot's city centre Steelworks Studios, will perform debut single, Amazing – which doubles as the anthem of his new One Song Foundation, which will be officially launched on the night. Read more below.

Sports stars will join Eliot to sing World At Our Feet, his Sheffield 2018 Back The Bid song, backing the campaign for World Cup matches in Sheffield. Download it free, for a donation fro www.thestar.co.uk

Also playing, with an average age of just 14, will be Ecclesfield School band Searching 4 Evidence - winners of last week's Star backed Eliot Kennedy Limelight competition, to find a new local talent.

Eliot, an accomplished singer and bass player, is hoping to better the success of his first City Hall charity concert last year with Dennis Hobson, which included a performance with songwriting partner Bryan Adams.

Weston Park Hospital Cancer Charity and Cavendish Cancer Care will benefit from the event again.

Eliot said: "Last year was so much fun. It was like having a few friends around for a drink, except 2,500 turned up! I'm thrilled to announce Peter Kay is coming back. He's become a great friend and supporter. I was overwhelmed when he said yes. I can also confirm Lee Ryan, probably a couple of other members of Blue and members of SClub. Others could still confirm. And yes, Bryan Adams is one of them."

Dennis , who also promoted the Limelight competition, said: "With my background in management and promoting and Eliot's achievement in the music industry it is a natural partnership which culminated in us putting together last year's highly successful fundraising event. I have worked with the two local cancer charities over the last five years and will continue to do so."

Tickets for Eliot Kennedy and Star Guests at the City Hall are £24.50 and £29.50 each, may be subject to a booking fee. Call 0114 2789 789 or book on line, and get updated details, at www.sheffieldcityhall.co.uk
