Pedestrian hurt in crash

A BUSY main road in Sheffield was closed during Friday night's rush hour after a pedestrian was hit by a car.
Ecclesall Road was shut shortly before 6pm leading to severe congestion in the area.

The casualty was initially feared to have been seriously hurt but police later confirmed the pedestrian received minor injuries.
