SO what brings you lovely ladies to Sheffield?
No, it's not a cheesy chat up line but a bona fide question to contestants at the annual Miss Sheffield competition.

This year saw 10 local lasses bid for the title at the Walnut Club Champagne Bar on Ecclesall Road - with the winner Jamie-Lee Faulkner crowned by reigning Miss England Georgina Horsley.

The final was hosted by lingerie providers Gash to relaunch the boutique in Division Street.

Jamie-Lee, aged 18, a 5ft 7ins tall beauty therapist from Treeton, beat Samantha Keywood, Stacey Milano, Joanne Skidmore West, Donna Bibby, Ashlie Reeve, Lucy Frost, Emma Moat, Lianne Pendlebury and Stephanie Tyler to take the tiara.

She is now a finalist in the Miss England competition to be held in London in July.
