Man beaten up by thugs in late night taxi dispute

A MAN was attacked and beaten up in Barnsley after a late night row over a taxi.
Five men chased and attacked the local man leaving him with injuries including swelling to his head, cuts to his ear and bruising to his chest.

Police say they believe the victim was waiting for a cab at the taxi rank in Midland Street between 4am and 4.30am on Thursday when the group of men jumped the queue.
