A SOUTH Yorkshire man was injured after he was attacked by two men in an argument about football.
The 26-year-old was talking with two men on Station Street in Swinton, Rotherham. One punched him twice in the face.

He tried to run away but was tripped and fell. Both kicked him before he escaped. He suffered facial bruising and swelling and a grazed back.

Police said the two men were white and about 25. One was 6ft, skinny, wearing a light T-shirt and dark jeans.

The other was 5ft 6ins, stocky, in a black jacket, with a large gold chain on his neck.
