A GIANT toilet will be erected in Sheffield city centre in a bid to encourage residents to 'do one thing differently' to save water.
Organised by Yorkshire Water, the six foot toilet is being used to promote the flush saver - a device which fits into the toilet cistern and saves up to a litre of water with each flush. The giant toilet will be on display in the Peace Gardens on August 15 and 16 and will be touring Yorkshire while staff give away the flush saver devices.
"A lot of the time we want to do our bit to help the environment but we don't know how to," said water conservation manager Clare Dunlop.
"We want to show our customers how small actions can really make a difference."
