A TEENAGER wanted by the police climbed onto the roof of a block of flats and pelted emergency crews with rocks when officers turned up to arrest him.
The 19-year-old, who was eventually apprehended, clambered onto a roof on Middle Hay Place, Gleadless, Sheffield, and threw masonry onto nearby roads.
One of the missiles hit a fire engine which had also been called to the scene, but nobody was injured.
Police eventually talked him down and he was led away for questioning on Monday night.
