Buses, trains and roads latest

Buses in Sheffield, Barnsley, Rotherham and Doncaster are battling against the icy conditions this morning.
Some routes are still sticking to main roads - avoiding side streets and many of the region's estates.

All routes are running as normal, except the ones listed below:

Sheffield
33 Missing Donovan Road
57/58 Using bottom road in Stocksbridge only
75/76/77/78 Terminating at Chapeltown
95 Using Crookes Terminus, unable to use Walkley Terminus

Rotherham
Routes normal with delays unless listed below
3 missing St Johns, Wood Laithes Village
5 missing South Street
6 is using Chapelfield turning circle, but not serving the estate
7 missing West Hill and Blackburn using Richmond Park Avenue turning circle.
21 operating normally to Killamarsh but missing out Sheepcote Road.
25 now normal, including Harthill and Woodall.
28 operating normally to Killamarsh but missing out Sheepcote Road.
29 missing Whitegate
33 missing out Howarth Road and Mason Avenue.
34 missing Cowrakes Lane. Using High Street, Chaff Lane and Pleasley Road to turn around.
39 missing Becket Crescent
42 missing Wagon Road
43A missing Becket Crescent
X78 serving Conisbrough via Hill Top Road, missing Micklebring Grove out.

Doncaster
16 not operating via Averly Lane
78 operating down Great North Road to oval. Normal service return via Boswell Road
87 not operating on Emerson and Princes Avenue in both directions
88 not operating via South Common

Stagecoach Yorkshire Dearne Valley
No services are serving Denaby or Conisbrough Villages.
224 not serving Harlington or Cadeby
226 not operating via Merrill Road in Thurnscoe

Doncaster
42 main roads only
64A main roads only

Barnsley
66 terminating at Hoyland town hall. Not serving Jump or Elsecar
67 not serving Jump, Hemmingfield, Worsbrough Dale or Worsborough Village
265 not serving Worsborough Village

Stagecoach Sheffield
88 not serving Worrall Road. Instead turning left onto School Road going up High Green.
123 is not sering Tinker Lane. Instead diverting onto the 52 route at the end of South Road.


MOST rail services through South Yorkshire have been operating normally despite the weather.

Sheffield to London operator East Midlands Trains said it ran 97 per cent of services to the capital on time on Tuesday, when there were blizzard conditions.

The A57 Snake Pass and A628 Woodhead Pass are still closed today.

Yup, Flagged down. Walked miles until he saw one, and waved him to stop. Thank you, that driver.

how come the rotherham 43a is going down west hill to meadowhell (no mis-spell)yet the 7 cannot god own the same road ??????????????????
