A CHESTERFIELD man will be striding out this Father's Day when he takes part in a charity walk to raise awareness of male cancers.
Glen Martin, aged 42, is taking part in the Big Stride walk through the Derbyshire Dales on Sunday to raise money for the Everyman Campaign.

He hopes to raise £1,000 if he completes the 10-mile walk, which will be used to fund vital research and raise awareness of male conditions including prostate and testicular cancers.

Glen said: "I am really excited about our challenge, and we have been training hard for the sake of those who have sponsored us.

"A close friend has been affected by testicular cancer so we are determined to raise all we can to support the vital work being carried out by Everyman scientists at The Institute of Cancer Research."

To sponsor Glen call him on 07793 139956.
