CARING staff at Sheffield Hallam University raised more than £500 for charity in memory of a colleague.
Staff from the University's facilities department donated the money to Neurocare to honour Diane Havenhand, who died unexpectedly in 2005.

The Sheffield-based charity, which funds equipment for patients with head injury, brain tumours, strokes and cancers of the nervous system, was chosen by Diane's daughter Joanne Hunt.

Neurocare also buys specialist items for patients with neurological illness, supports and encourages research, and helps fund training for carers.

Diane was a member of the security services staff and a close colleague to many in the university.
