STAFF and customers at a Sheffield bingo hall have achieved a fundraising full house for a city children's charity.
Wadsley Bridge branch of Gala Bingo has collected more than £1,400 for Sheffield Children's Hospital Charity by organising a series of fundraising events over the last 12 months.

Events include sponsored walks and bike rides as well as bucket coll
ections and a charity raffle at Gala Bingo's annual golf day.

The Wadsley Bridge branch has raised more than £4,500 for the charity over the last four years.

Fran Hunt, fundraiser for Sheffield Children's Hospital Charity, said: "We want to say a big thank you for Gala's efforts."

The money will go towards the charity's £250,000 research appeal, which will help fund vital hospital research in conditions such as brittle bones, asthma, diabetes, cystic fibrosis, and newborn screening.

David Ryley, general manager at Gala Bingo Wadsley Bridge, said: "We have been supporting the Sheffield Children's Hospital Charity for almost four years and hope this donation helps towards staff being able to continue with the fantastic work they do."
