Sheffield Wednesday went into the lions den tonight - and tamed the local wildlife.
They romped to a 3-0 win at Dutch team Stormvogels Telstar in the second stage of their mini-tour of the Netherlands.
Telstar, nicknamed the White Lions, provided a decent work out for the Owls.
Brian Laws' outfit didn't score until an hour was up - then slammed in three in eight minutes.
Marcus Tudgay (60), Deon Burton (66), Jermaine Johnson (68) were on target in the second successive victory on pre-season foreign soil.
Laws rung the changes from the team that beat Haarlem earlier in the week, Richard Wood, Peter Gilbert, Sean McAllister, James O'Connor, Luke Boden and Marcus Tudgay started.
Bench places at this tight little ground went to Liam McMenamin, Tommy Spurr, Jermaine Johnson, Steve Watson and
Leon Clarke was the first to threaten the hosts, pinging a shot off the wordwork.
Laws decided some width was needed, bringing on Johnson for James O'Connor.
It increased the away side's options and they were even more assertive, without finding the finishing touch.
Tommy Spurr finally found the key to unlock the Dutch defence.
He whipped in a cross for Tudgay's head. Burton followed suit with similar aplomb
Then Johnson danced around three hapless markers before knocking in the third. Game over.
OWLS: Grant (O'Donnell 66), Wood, Beevers (Spurr 46), Hinds (McMenamin 68), McAllister, O'Connor (Johnson 35), Boden, Esajas, Tudgay (Lekaj 66), Clarke (Burton 46).
