HEY Mum ... look what I've won!
Mark Beevers couldn't wait to show his mother tangible proof of his excellent season with Sheffield Wednesday.

The 18-year-old is pictured at home in Barnsley with mum Sue with his selection of Player of the Year trophies.

He is holding the Club's Player of the Year Trophy, left, and the Football League Apprentice of the Year.

Also vying for a place on the mantlepiece are the 'Owls Alive' Award, SODA Award, 'Owls OnLine' Award, Star and Green 'Un Award and London Owls Award.

Earlier this year, Beevers was called up to the England Under-19s squad, making his debut as a second-half substitute in the 3-1 win against Russia.

Meanwhile, defender Tommy Spurr has congratulated the Hillsborough faithful for sticking by them in a sometimes turbulent season.

And he hopes next season will see more bumper gates like the 36,208 they pulled in for the 4-1 win over Norwich City.

"The fans have been brilliant all season. We showed against Norwich the kind of fan base we have here."

Yes PenrhynBay but the clowns dont care about anything but short term gain and long term loss. There's nothing the supporters can do to change this unfortunately.

Did anybody see Brunt's free kick last weekend to score for West Brom? As good as you'll ever see. I wonder what the fools at S6 think when they watch this and know that they sold him for a handful of beans.
