Store firm's hi-tech extra

SELF storage company Ready Steady Store has launched a new initiative to support the Doncaster business community, giving them the opportunity to apply for one-off donations in the form of technology and free storage.

The initiative was launched on the company's website by running an online competition offering one company three months of free storage and the added bonus of a 500 Apple iPad.

The first winner, Sandra Harvey, regional director of ASC Finance for Business, said: "At the time of signing up to the Ready Steady Store website, I was looking for a suitable storage unit for my business to help free up some space.

"Winning the competition has given me the perfect opportunity to trial a storage unit before I make a commitment."

Andy Egerton, area manager at Ready Steady Store, says: "We were overwhelmed by the number of businesses that took part in the launch competition."
