FOUR successful and entrepreneurial Sheffield women are hoping to pass on tips that will inspire other women to make 2013 their year.

Suzanne Liversidge, partner at Kennedys law firm in Sheffield and the first female president of Sheffield Chamber of Commerce in its 154 year history will be on the panel on Tuesday January 22, alongside Dr Sipra Deb, mother of three and owner of Sheffield’s Play Arena.

Paralympic table tennis star Sue Gilroy MBE will also talk about combining her life as a mother and champion of disabled sport, while Sophie Maxwell will reveal how she went from being homeless and dependent on drugs to putting herself through a university education and founding a company to help other troubled youngsters.

The free event, at 6.30pm is at the Pennine Theatre on Sheffield Hallam University’s City Campus. Supported by the Sheffield Chamber of Commerce’s Inspiring Women group, the event is free but seats must be booked in advance. Call 0114 2254526 or email events@shu.ac.uk
