Your chance to look racy at Ladies' Day

Royal Ascot frowned on revealing outfits at its ladies' day – but organisers of Sheffield's style equivalent say they are happy to turn a blind eye to any knickers flashed at the country's most glamorous greyhound racing event.
All they are asking is that ladies who want to show off their best assets give a donation to charity.

Sheffield’s Owlerton Greyhound Stadium, which hosts its own Ascot-style Ladies’ Day on the evening of Tuesday July 1 in aid of St Luke’s Hospice, has come up with its own set of fashion guidelines for the event.

There’s a green light for the odd flash of midriff, off-the-shoulder and halter-neck frocks... and even having the occasional undergarment on show!

But anyone taking advantage of Owlerton Greyhound Stadium’s racy guidelines will be liable to give an extra donation to St Luke’s Hospice.

John Gilburn, managing director of Owlerton Greyhound Stadium, said: “We’re planning a prize for the raciest race-goer! ”
