Those sliced, diced, primped and preened makeover candidates on Ten Years Younger can eat their hearts out...
According to the latest new-fangled analysing machine, my skin looks 12 years younger than its age!
Needless to say, I was extremely impressed by the new, hi-tech Skin Health Centre now open in Meadowhall's Boots store.
The centre has a team of British Skin Foundation accredited skin health advisors on hand to give free one-to-one consultations on the state of your skin.
With the help of their dermo-anaylser device, and a series of revealing questions about your lifestyle, you can find out how well or how badly your skin is ageing, how sun-sensitive you are and what skin type you really are.
If that last one sounds like a doddle, then hear this: there are over 7,000 to go at!
Unsurprisingly 50 per cent of us get it wrong and therefore buy unsuitable beauty products.
The Skin Health Centre is currently one of only five in the UK but by January they will be in Boots stores nationwide.
They were devised to meet the growing demand from the public for accessible, helpful advice and guidance from skin health experts.
The brainwave of Vichy Laboratoires, the dermo-analyser takes photographs of your face and in 10 minutes can determine skin oil hydration levels and analyse how bad your wrinkles and sun damage are.
My skin's age was 35.4 years and a collection of specific Vichy skincare products were "diagnosed" in a little prescription.
