IT'S down laughter's memory lane tonight as BBC2's Comedy Map of Britain visits Sheffield and South Yorkshire.
Dead Ringers star Jon Culshaw goes back to the studios at Radio Hallam where he worked as a presenter in the Eighties, honing his impressions.

And the Chuckle Brothers revisit Rotherham's Civic Theatre, where they once performed for a dance school and first became a double act.

Other performers given a namecheck include the late Charlie Williams, the first black comedian to make it big, and the late Marti Caine – although the programme finds her comedy doesn't age well.

There are also appearances by John Shuttleworth and there's a return to Shiregreen WMC, where they filmed the strip sequence of The Full Monty
