EATING more than 30 grams of fibre per day can cut your chance of developing breast cancer by half, according to a new report.
Health and nutrition experts are using Breast Cancer Awareness Month to highlight the effects of a fibre rich diet in protecting against the disease in pre-menopausal women.
According to the study - The New F Word Report - fibre may help protect against breast cancer by lowering the levels of oestrogen.
