GOT a Sheffield tale to tell?
So tell it.

Creativesheffield is inviting all Sheffielders and guests to tell the story of the city.

Throughout August The Showroom cinema on Paternoster Row will show a short film before all screenings, featuring Sheffield people, from all bac
kgrounds, pledging to do their bit for the city and encouraging others to do the same.

Brendan Moffett, Strategic Marketing Director at Creativesheffield, said: "This story-telling campaign will help get people talking about Sheffield and raise national and global awareness of the city. "We're calling on all the people of Sheffield to play their part in influencing their friends, family, colleagues and customers and, as a result, make a significant difference to the city's image and economy."

Bill Lawrence, Creative Director at the Showroom Workstation, said: "As an exclusive Sheffield venue, The Showroom is keen to support such a unique campaign to promote and raise aspirations of Sheffield. City marketing initiatives usually have a business focus. So it is refreshing to see a city appeal to the people who can ultimately really make a difference."

Mark Dennis, the City Centre Ambassador who stars in the short film, said: "People need to consider the experience that others get when they visit the city. If they receive a friendly welcome and great service they're bound to tell their friends and family about it – raising impressions."
