Guilty feelings often plague bereaved partners when they start to form new relationships, says Stephen Holbrook, a clairvoyant for the last 20 years.
"They can become plagued by thoughts that they are being unfaithful to their partner's memory. They worry their actions could cause jealousy or hurt, but nothing could be further from the truth.

"When people pass into the spirit world they take with them an unconditional love for those they leave. They don't want their partners to be on their own; they know how much better they would function with someone new and love in their lives.

"What happened to Dave and Janet is actually a very common occurrence. It is the spirits actually trying to help and encourage their partners to find love again."

Have you ever had a message from the spirit world? Post your comments below.

Stephen, who was born in Hemsworth, South Yorkshire, and moved to Wakefield in early childhood, had his first supernatural experience at the age of nine.

"My grandfather John appeared at the foot of the bed in the middle of the night, saying goodbye.

"When I told my mum about it the next morning, she was stunned. Granddad had died in the night," says Stephen.

"I know many people are sceptical about messages from spirits but they should come and see one of my shows for themselves.

"I can and do give proof," he claims. "I'm pleased to say that 99 per cent of the people who come, leave my shows uncomfortably challenged."

Stephen Holbrook will be holding evenings of clairvoyance in Chesterfield on May 22nd and at Sheffield's Grosvenor Hotel on July 3rd. For more information, go to www.steveholbrook.co.uk
