Do I take it that Wednesday's intention to strengthen the team with loan signings if necessary, means that the proposed multi-million pound takeover is off?
It seems a strange policy to go buying players from Burnley, and looking at loan signings, if a take over is imminent. Has someone been kidding us?

Lincs Owl,

So how do you expect the club to go on? Sit around doing nothing on the off-chance that oodles of money pour in , in time for the new season?
They have to carry on preparing for the new season, because there is a chance that no deal will be in place by August(or ever).

We have keep going. With the injurys piling up do we really put the academy players in and fall down the league (no offence academy lads). Even IF a take over with Mr. Bags O'money was to happen do we buy in oversized headed players on stupidly high money only to have them sidelined by injury (late 90's senario comes to mind) and still be at the foot of the table?

Get real. Football fixtures dont stop just because a clubs players have injury's. Sit back and we demise, Steve.
