Owls 2 Blades 0
Wednesday stormed to victory in the 119th Sheffield derby with goals from Akpo Sodje and Marcus Tudgay.

The Owls were the better side on the whole, deserved their triumph and could have added more goals near the end.

Sodje, recalled to the side after injury, struck in the first half converting a cross by Jermaine Johnson, and Tudgay volleyed the clincher in the second half from a ball by sub Leon Clarke.

The blades were poor yet again with no method and the defence non existent at times. How long can Robson remain in charge? He clearly hasn't got a clue about tactics despite him having been England's captain in defence. Good players don't always make good managers. Mr McCabe should be brave and admit Robson will never get promotion for the blades but just spend millions and push the club towards bankruptcy. Sack him now before it's too late.

Anybody who knows anything about Robson's feats as a manager is aware that he's never pulled up any trees in that capacity. I have repeatedly called for him to be axed and United's board should do that with all possible haste before the club's in division one. Mr McCabe, read these columns and come to your senses. Robson had passed his sell-by date long before he arrived at Brammall Lane.

Shouldn't it be exile????? But anyway who cares--we beat you big mouthed "red and white wizards" fair and square with a team "that cost peanuts" as you keep reminding us-- oh and a ground that's 3 ft underwater as another one of your nutters pointed out last week from "sunny Woodseats" OWLS RULE--- Its all about passion United and since the untimely dismissal of Warnock you just don't have any. RED DEVIL!! I dont think so.

Fantastic win for the owls a team that has more heart and passion Robson played 5 mid fielders in the first half what an idiot Wednesday isolated Hulse the only time united looked dangerous was on set pieces so keep on spending Robson .....Brian Laws legend

Got what we, and Robson, deserved. They did to us what we've done to them many times over the last 15 years - beat the better team by showing passion!!! The man is a disgrace, never been a manager in his life - if he had an ounce of respect for the club or fans he would walk so we didnt waste more money on the man who has proved the biggest mistake in the clubs history. Kevin McCabe - admit you made a mistake, get rid of this clown NOW he has undone seven years of your good work in seven months. ROBSON OUT

What a easy victory this was?
Not bad for a team that cost next to nowt.
Not bad for a club that's got nowt.
Not bad for a club that's got no fans.
Not bad for a club that's got a poor stadium.
Not bad for a club that's £35,million in debt.
Oh this is getting "boring" Need we say anymore.

Robson is a joke, it as took him seven month to turn a team that just needs a bit of tweakin to one that is the joke of the county. we lack passion, we have no heart, the defence is like a colander, the midfield headless chickens who limp around not run, and attack just are not getting the service they need. the best we have played this season is when robson had to pick the team at bolton by default, in the history of steel city derby's neither team as ever disrespected the occasion by calling it just another game or putting out a negative 4,5,1 formation. robbo had stead on the bench who can play right, left wing or up front but he kept him on the sidelines. both robbo and kidd have lost the plot, a player who played defence for ENGLAND and a guy who was brought to the club under warnock as a attacking coach and both seem to be falling short of there job discriptions. i dont even think they would get work in the sunday league's.
we need to change it now and give the new guy a chance to wheel and deal before the window closes and robbo spends millions on some more zimmer frame using old timers. Mr McCabe you need to stop the rot now not sit back and do what brealy and Mc Donald did.

Johnson ran Armstrong ragged, imagine what a player he would be if was a stonger finisher. They didn't know what to do with Sodje either, Whelan was back to his best and young Beevers, is there any wonder he's attracting attention from Premiership Clubs and England Under 19s. Lets hope this kick starts the rest of the season and forget it Blades you're not buying any of them.
Finally please please please I beg Mr McCabe not to sack Robson us Owls think he's doing a great job.

Robson and Kidd should be sent packing quickly. A 1-0 win against a Bolton reserve side is no success. Man City will be rubbing their hands for the FA Cup this saturday. I hope the Blades aren't humiliated again on live SKY TV. McCabe are you listening. Act now.

There's only one Bryan Robson! You had to feel for the guy when that was all you could hear from the North Stand.

For far too long, we have stood back and taken so much cr*p from you red and white, bacon faced ****'s. This is a new beginning.

Up the OWLS! Long live Bryan Robson!
