WHAT do a human cannon ball and a huge car-crushing monster truck have in common?
They'll both be appearing at Sheffield's Owlerton Stadium on Sunday to launch its spring and summer season.

The Scott May Daredevil Stunt Show will include monster truck jumps, two wheel driving, pyrotechnics and a spectacular human cannon ball act.

The first phase of more than £1 million of upgrades has just finished at the stadium and new managing director, John Gilburn, is out to show that the award-winning venue is firing on all cylinders.

He said: "We wanted something that summed up all the fun and excitement of the stadium and also reminds people we run other great family entertainment shows alongside our dog racing and speedway."

Turnstiles open at 6pm and the show starts at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £10 adults, £5 for children under 15, under threes free. Log on to owlertonstadium.co.uk or call 0114 2343074 for details.
