RUSSELL Irwin enjoyed a successful career as a professional actor, appearing alongside stars like James Bolam, Lynda Bellingham and Julia Sawalha.
Eventually, though, he decided to leave the business and gain a degree in film studies.
Now back in his native Dronfield, however, he's returning to acting, joining the Tudor Players for their forthcoming production of classic Neil Simon comedy The Odd Couple.
