The Star's Gift of Life campaign is aiming to recruit at least 25,000 people in South Yorkshire and North Derbyshire to join the NHS Organ Donor Register.
And you can make a difference by signing up today - using the electronic form here.

This first page will register your support of our campaign and then it links directly to the official NHS Organ Donor Register, a confidential, computerised database.
The NHS database holds the wishes of more than 15 million people who have decided they want to give others the chance of life after their death.

We want readers to be aware of the desperate lack of available organs, the plight of patients on the waiting list for a transplant and to highlight the huge benefits to those lucky enough to receive a new donated organ and a second chance at life.

With the 31st Westfield Health British Transplant Games taking place in Sheffield in August, hundreds of children and adults from across the country who have benefited from a transplant will be coming to the city to take part in sporting events to throw the spotlight on the vital need for more organ donors.

You can also get actively involved by taking part in The Star Donor Run on Saturday, August 9. See below for details on how to sign up.
