FORMER Jam frontman Paul Weller may not be attending his own aftershow party at the Priory nightclub following tomorrow night's gig at the Dome.
The Priory said there was every likelihood the singer will attend - but it could not be guaranteed because he was concentrating on the gig.

A Mr Weller spokesman said: “After speaking to Steve Cradock, Paul Weller’s guitarist, they have decided th
at Paul can’t do the aftershows.

“His main priority needs to be the live gig and he doesn’t want to be tied down to turning up at a venue, should he not feel like it on the night.”

The club’s manager Gareth Fletcher said: “Obviously we are hugely disappointed that Paul cannot guarantee making the aftershow.

“We still think it will be a great event and the perfect way to round off your night if you’ve been at the gig, or experience some of the atmosphere if you couldn’t make it.

“We fully understand that his first priority is always going to be his performance at his live gigs.

“It is this commitment that has made him such a successful and enduring star over the last three decades and we have to respect his decision but we hope he will be feeling up to coming afterwards.”

The aftershow will start at 10.30pm and go on till late. Entrance will now be £6 all night. Anyone with original tickets to the Paul Weller aftershow will be offered either a full refund or entry and a free drink.
