VISITORS to a Doncaster tourist attraction didn't have to wait long for a bus...there were a whole army of them to catch.
Buses from across Europe were on display at an open day at Sandtoft Trolleybus museum.

Bosses at the venue brought out their Portuguese, Belgian and French vehicles to run for the themed day and had a German vehicle out on display.

Commercial director Aidan Proctor said: "The European trolley buses we have are more modern than the British ones and are the sort of things that would have run on the streets of Doncaster if they had continued.

"We were really pleased with the way the weekend went - it was a good turnout and great weather."

The next special event at the Belton Road venue will be on September 13 and September 14, for the museum's model weekend, which will feature model trolleybus, tram and train layouts.
