ARMTHORPE Safer Neighbourhood policing team has received assistance from the Tesco supermarket at Edenthorpe, Doncaster, to boost its communications with the public.
The store has donated two mobile phones to the team, which covers Armthorpe, Edenthorpe, Kirk Sandall and Barnby Dun, to make officers more accessible.

PC Noel Lightfoot said: "This is another way to enhance our accessibility and gain valuable information quickly on community issues, thus improving the speed with which we can act.

"The public can still leave a message for the Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team on 01302 385153."
