IT'S a keep-fit assault course with a difference...it's for dogs!
Animals at Doncaster's Mayflower Animal Sanctuary were put through their paces thanks to a team of volunteers.

A group organised by the Highwayman pub on Great North Road, Woodlands, visited the centre to create the assault course for dogs.

They arranged challenges for the animals including tunnels, slides, hoops and hurdles.

And while they were at the centre they also did some decorating, giving the buildings a lick of paint.

The sanctuary, in Bawtry, is a rehoming centre for abandoned and abused dogs and cats.

Pub general manager Rob Dunn said: "It seemed ideal that we could help out our very deserving neighbour."

Kennel carer Penny Brittain said: "Some of the dogs absolutely love the assault course."
