Sacking reversed

A LECTURER controversially sacked from Barnsley College, sparking demonstrations and a strike, has had his dismissal reversed.
But Bob Willerton will leave the college anyway, in a deal thrashed out by new principal Colin Booth in consultation with Mr Willerton, his union and a legal advisor.

The former head of computing was originally fired for gross misconduct after allegedly failing to stage a proper disciplinary procedure involving a lecturer.
