Rovers stars drop in to watch young fans in action

DONCASTER Rovers stars James Hayter and James Coppinger are used to having people watch them play.
But the tables were turned this week when they were among players and officials from the club visiting the Astrabound children's play centre, to meet young fans playing at the centre.

Fans got the chance to meet the players and have their pictures taken with their heroes.

The centre, on Wheatley Hall Road, is the sponsor of the club's Junior Rovers membership scheme.

Manager at Astrabound, Natalie Perry, was delighted with the visit.

She said: "The children obviously enjoyed it and the parents thought it was wonderful - it was great for community spirit."
