The annual Sandtoft Gathering is back again on Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 July.
All the museum's usual attractions will be open both days including a trolleybus driving simulator, a children's play area, a digital theatre and a vintage bicycle coll
ection.
Period shop window displays and a decorated 1950s prefab bungalow add to the experience of reliving the heyday of trolleybuses.
The museum is also home to the largest collection of historic trolleybuses in the world. Food and refreshments will be available too including a real ale beer tent, open late on Saturday and all day Sunday.
A feast of other attractions is also lined up for the Sunday only, with many visiting vintage cars, motorcycles, buses and commercial vehicles expected to attend.
Plus, with a transport bazaar, craft stalls, fun fair, live music and entertainment, every member of the family will be kept amused.
As well as unlimited trolleybus rides visitors can take motorbus tours of the scenic and historic Isle of Axholme at no additional cost.
The museum is open from 11am until 10pm on Saturday for last orders at the real ale beer tent and night-time trolleybus services. The main event on Sunday is open 10am until 6pm.
A free bus service operates from Doncaster town centre for visitors wishing to travel by public transport. On Sunday the bus departs every half hour from 10am to 4pm from Doncaster Interchange bay C5. The journey takes around 40 minutes.
