DONCASTER'S Frenchgate Centre has appointed a new boss - who says the shopping destination will compete with others across the region.
Mike Pugh, aged 50, becomes the centre's director and brings over 33 years' worldwide experience in retail, hospitality, leisure and shopping centre management to the position.

He said: "It's great to be back in the UK. and I'm very excited about the opportunities for Frenchgate Shopping.
"I'm working with a great management team here and I'm committed to ensuring that Frenchgate shoppers receive the very best customer care, from the first customer in the morning to the last at night, seven days a week.
"We have a first-class line-up of shops and restaurants at Frenchgate and, through our strong professional working relationships, we will compete on a regional basis whilst enjoying strong partnerships with the local community.
