MANGA lovers will be out in force in Doncaster later this month when a comic book publisher hosts an event to celebrate the Japanese art form.
The event - where fans are invited to dress up as their favourite Manga comic book character - will take place on Saturday September 20 between 10am and 4pm at Doncaster College's waterfront campus. Activities will take place throughout the day, incl
uding animation screenings, art competitions, artists' workshops, quizzes and giveaways. There will also be a chance to win a Nintendo Wii.

The event is being jointly organised by Doncaster College, official publisher TokyoPop and Waterstone's.

Tickets for the event cost £4 for non-college students and £3 for college students. Students must show a valid ID card to gain discount entry.

Pre-booking is essential and tickets can be obtained from Waterstone's in the Frenchgate Centre or by calling 01302 329 142.
