Man, 60, escapes fire

A MAN escaped unhurt after fire swept through his house in Bentley, Doncaster, last night.
Fire crews from Adwick and Doncaster spent more than an hour tackling the blaze at the semi-detached property in Watch House Lane.

The 60-year-old occupant had got out of the house before firefighters arrived .

Most of the house was affected by the fire and the neighbours were also evacuated.
