LABOUR Party member Michael Felse has launched an appeal over his omission from a Labour shortlist for its mayoral candidate.
Mr Felse, who grew up in Doncaster and ran for election to Salford Council four years ago, was one of six people who put themselves forward for consideration.

On Monday it was revealed current borough Labour group leader Coun Joe Blackham, Coun Sandra Holland and Coun Glyn Jones were the three names included in the short list to be put to all party members in Doncaster.

The decision on the candidate is expected near the end of the month.
