TRIPLE heart bypass patient Kevin Downes donned a pair of fake breasts and a Tam O'Shanter and set off on a 12 mile pub crawl around Doncaster.
Kevin, who is in his 70s, was one of a group of Campaign for Real Ale members in Doncaster who walked around rural pubs to raise cash for the British Heart Foundation (BHF).
Doncaster and District CAMRA chose the BHF as its Charity of the Year and collected more than £2,400.
The money was handed over in a presentation ceremony at the Sun Inn, York Road, where the walk finished.
Local BHF branch chairman Stephen Shorthose said: "We are genuinely grateful to CAMRA for their efforts on our behalf.
"This is a significant donation that will boost our campaign this year to raise the £40,000 needed to employ a specialist heart failure nurse working in the local community.
"We rely on donations to supplement our fundraising activities and our task is made much easier when we have the generous support of local groups and individuals organising their own sponsored events. We are always happy to help anyone with a good idea."
