TUTU'S company tomorrow when two award-winning South Yorkshire schoolgirls swap their dancing shoes for trainers.
Victoria Smalley and Sadie Webb, both aged 13, won a Mexborough's Got Talent competition together with a dance routine.
Now the teenagers, both pupils at Mexborough School who organised contest, are tomorrow competing in this year's Junior Yorkshire Run...wearing tutus!
The 3km event is at Don Valley Stadium tomorrow - the day before more than 5,000 competitors take to the streets of Sheffield in this year's Bupa Great Yorkshire Run.
The girls decided to raise money for Macmillan Nurses in memory of Victoria's aunt, a Macmillan carer herself who died earlier this year.
Victoria said: "We've been training for the run by going jogging every other day. I'm a bit nervous but I'm sure that we'll be able to complete it."
Sadie added: "We decided that after winning the talent competition that it would be good fun to try to do something else, and we wanted to wear our dance outfits to help us try and raise more money. I'm really looking forward to it!"
Victoria's mum Helen Smalley said: "The girls are inseparable. They've grown up together and it was their idea to enter to race."
