CONTROVERSIAL plans to build a house on Holme Hall Lane, Stainton, can go ahead after a Government inspector overturned a Doncaster Council decision.
Developer Ashley Brown appealed to the Department for Communities and Local Government after the council rejected his scheme for land near Penny Hill.
It had been turned down because of concerns it would spoil the open nature of Holme Hall Lane. But the appeal report stated the house would not look out of place or harm the character of the area.
