DONCASTER Business School experts have teamed up with borough firm Garden Haze to help deliver the UK's first purpose-built garden office to the national market.
Hatfield-based Garden Haze has designed and packaged a range of professional garden offices for people working or running a business from home.

Proprietor Kevin Wheatley said: "We have produced the first purpose-built office to feature no visible
wood, using the same materials and fixtures you would expect in a city centre office block.

"We have also created a one stop shop for office furniture, IT suites and even designer landscape packages to accompany the offices.

"But as a new business with a brand new product we needed help to break into the market and to portray the real differences between us and the established competition - and that is where Doncaster Business School have been fantastic."

The business school is providing practical support and strategic marketing advice to the firm, who took advantage of the College's relationship with the Digital Knowledge Exchange.

This has opened up a new way the firm can get their message across in an exciting and innovative way harnessing the power of 3D technology.

Kevin added: "I would definitely recommend the business school because of their professional approach, their knowledge and resources they have to offer and the personal skills to make the process and enjoyable journey."

Antony Pawlett, head of Doncaster Business School, said: "As soon as I saw Kevin's product I knew it had great potential and that the college's Digital Knowledge Exchange had a unique service that was perfect to help launch it.

" It's great when the business school can back local entrepreneurs.

"One of the key factors when working in partnership to back a local business is the personal relationship and there was instant rapport with Kevin - he and his partner have a hot property on their hands and we will continue to work with them to get this product to market."
