FIREFIGHTERS at Thorne Station will welcome the public on Saturday September 13 for an open day featuring displays and demonstrations.
The event begins at 10am with planned activities including firefighters cutting a mock "casualty" from a crashed car using specialist cutting equipment.
There will also be vintage fire engines, a bouncy castle and face painting.
The event runs from 10am to 3pm. Firefighters will offer fire safety advice.
