EDUCATIONAL charity Show Racism the Red Card is teaming up with Doncaster Rovers tomorrow for its latest anti-racism event in the borough.
The Doncaster Council sponsored event is being hosted by the football club at the Keepmoat Stadium and will take an anti-racist message to an audience of about 60 school children from schools in the borough.

The event will feature a screening of a
n educational film, followed by a question and answer session on racism.

On the panel will be Mayor Martin Winter, Doncaster Rovers players and representatives of the Show Racism the Red Card Charity.

Mr Winter said: "Both I and Doncaster Council take the stamping out of racism very seriously. As an organisation this commitment is reflected in all the Equality and Diversity policies.

"Together, we continue to promote and celebrate diversity and seek to prevent all forms of discrimination in our communities.

"To sponsor this high profile Show Racism the Red Card event, that uses the Doncaster Rovers players and management as role models to get the message across, has been an honour and a privilege."

Show Racism the Red Card will distribute free resources such as posters, magazines and stickers at the event.

Tomorrow's event starts at 2pm.
