LEISURE inspectors have rated The Dome highly commended in an assessment of what it offers visitors.
Assessors from Quest, who visited the Bawtry Road leisure facility, were impressed by the ongoing hard work, the strength of the venue and the organisation as a whole.

Areas highlighted as exceptional included people management, performance manage
ment and strategic direction with the venue receiving a score of 82 per cent.

Each leisure facility is assessed against 172 best practice principles, receives a mystery visit and is tested on every part of the operation ranging from customer relations to staffing and service.

Gavin Baldwin, chief executive of the Dome said: "This award demonstrates our continued commitment to improvement and to provide the highest quality sports facilities and services.

"Our aim is not just to maintain the fantastic results but to continue to be the best.

"We are delighted that our recent Quest assessment firmly places us as one of the best performing leisure venues in the UK. This gives much deserved recognition to our dedicated and hardworking staff.

"Thanks to our superb team the Dome has worked hard to develop management systems and operational procedures to ensure we deliver a quality service and experience to all our customers."
