ARTWORK by kids from National Children's Home centres has been put on display for the first time at Doncaster Museum and Art Gallery on Chequer Road.
The charity NCH worked alongside youngsters from five children's centres across the borough, preparing over 98 pieces of artwork to create the exhibition.

The kids - the youngest of whom is two - all created pieces based on the theme 'My Backyard'. Fundraiser Mary Shearn said: "The artwork the children have created is fantastic. Each group had completely different interpretations of the theme and I think the ideas and concepts they've come up with are brilliant.

"One of my favourites is a painting of an elephant created by one of our children who, in their imagination, has an elephant living in their garden."

Works are available for sale and proceeds from the exhibition will go towards the final total of NCH's year-long £400,000 'Growing Strong' appeal.
