DONCASTER Council is to vote on a motion calling for a series of measures to deal with any future flooding.
The borough was devastated by last June when around 3,000 homes were hit by the worst flooding the borough had seen in decades.
Hundreds of residents were forced into temporary accommodation and caravans while their homes were repaired.

eral Democrat leader Coun Edwin Simpson wants the council to vote on nine measures to deal with any similar crisis in the future.
His motion will go before the full council on Monday, calling on the authority to adopt the measures as additions to the its flood action plan.
He is calling for the council to extend home improvement grants to include flood resistance measures, encourage businesses to take-up flood resistance measures, create a flooding map, review its technical capability in flood risk management, and set up a mutual aid scheme with other areas.
It also calls for a local flood resilience forum to be set up to plan for future emergencies, improvements to affected areas, an annual review of progress by the borough's Overview and Scrutiny Management Committee, and for flood resistance and resilience to be built into all council houses in all areas prone to flooding.
Coun Simpson hopes the scheme would mean the council does more to keep gulleys, dykes and gulleys clear.
He said: "I want to make sure flood waters can't get into homes and buildings, and if they do, make houses resilient so they can be cleaned up easily.
"It is about minimising the effect of any future flooding. That is a theme which runs through this motion."
