WHEATLEY Hills underlinded their Yorkshire League Two title ambitions after romping to a 30-9 win at Ripon.

Storey, who had kicked seven goals from as many attempts on his league debut last weekend, converted only one of Wheatley's five tries in addition to kicking a penalty.
Wheatley took the lead on ten minutes when young winger Ryan Richardson finished off some good handling by the backs by cutting in past the full-back. Storey added the extras and also booted over a penalty to make it 10-0.
South African full-back Ed Squires.raced in from over 35 metres out after linking up in attack. The home side cut the deficit with three penalties.
Wheatley opened up a 20-9 lead ten minutes into the second half when Squires raced in for another unconverted try.

Andrew Penno went in from close range ten minutes from time following several forward drives.
Doncaster Phoenix, who have high hopes of promotion this season, crashed to a 58-0 Division Three defeat at Hullensians.
"It is our biggest defeat for a long time; we just didn't turn up on the day," said director of rugby Bill Farley.
"All we can do is draw a line in the sand and hope it is a one off. I haven't spoken to coach Dave Senior, but I don't think tonight's training session will be much fun for the players."
Relegated Thornensians lost 39-26 against Division Four rivals Leeds Corinthians.
Adwick continued the winning start to their 5B campaign with a 27-12 victory over Wetherby.at Carcroft Park on Saturday.

The Adwick defence held firm throughout the first half, despite strong running from Wetherby and they led by 14-0 at the break.
A change of tactics from Wetherby in the second half led to them scoring two tries to one. of which was converted.
Adwick re-asserted their dominance midway the half and their pressure lead to penalties being conceded - two of which Flaherty converted two to put daylight between them and the opposition.
Just before full-time, Flaherty capped a good individual and team performance with a try down the narrow side which he converted.
Newly-formed Adwick Seconds lost 60-9 at Chesterfield Seconds in the South Yorkshire Merit Table.
Adwick included a number of younger players in their side who demonstrated their enthusiasm by maintaining a high tackle count throughout the game.
Mosborough's well organised backs moved the ball until Adwick ran out of numbers and then ran in the points down the flanks.
