Rampant Sutton are in seventh heaven

SUTTON Rovers came from behind to beat Doncaster Senior League Premier Division rivals Edllington Rangers 7-1.
Rangers went in front through Callum Smith with Sutton equalising on the half hour. An injury to keeper Craig Harris led to Rovers taking control with Mitchell Wain adding another three goals along with single strikes by Craig Watts, Gary Hodgson and
Luke Chambers.

An 88th minute equaliser by Dan House gave Retford Town a 2-2 draw at Askern Villa.

Lee Gardner opened the visitors' account on the half hour with Wayne Parnell levelling the scores direct from a corner eight minutes later. Gareth Davies converting a 43rd minute penalty for Villa.

Hemsworth Alpha overcame Swinton Station 4-2 in Division One. Ryan Nock, Mark Sidebottom, Paul Walker and Tom Whitehall all found the net for Alpha with Phil Pears and Tom Davies reducing the arrears.

A last-minute strike by Maltby Sheppey secured them a 5-4 win over Thorncliff in their Sheffield Association Challenge Cup second round tie.

Jovan Moic and Richard Williams both bagged a brace of goals with Steve Burns completing the nap hand.

Goals by Steve Clayworth, Jimmy Barley and Ryan Williams, helped South Kirkby Colliery gain a surprise 3-2 success over County Senior Premier Thorpe Hesley.

Upton and Harewood Social suffered their first defeat of the season, going down 2-1 at Kirkburton – Lee Dawson scoring their consolation.

Michael Humberstone scored a consolation for Hemsworth Alpha who lost 4-1 at Wombwell Main.

There was a 4-1 success for Doncaster College Deaf over South Elmsall United Services, while Rossington Main were beaten 1-0 at Harworth CI.

A hat-trick from Luke Hurst helped Birksholt Sports triumph 8-2 at Wickersley Old Village in the Sheffield Junior Cup second round. Tom Salt (2), Barry Smyth, John Payne and an own goal completed the tally.

Chris Colley struck twice as Edlington Town won 5-0 at Hade Edge. Pete Dawson, Aidan Lloyd and Pete Hayward also got in on the act.

Adwick Park Rangers beat Noahs Ark 4-2 with goals from Joe Fisher (2), Scott Maillie and Craig Hunsworth.

An own goal from Alan Fawley gave Bramley Sunnyside the lead when they entertained Carcroft Village, but debutant Shaun Mundy scored twice and Ben Hodgson once to turn the tables.

Slawomir Osrowski bagged a brace of goals as ISG Doncaster accounted for Plough Raggy Lads 5-1. Marcin Dabrovski, Bartasz Prusak and Tomasz Sowinski also netted.

A Reece Hicks goal failed to save Kinsley Boys from a 3-1 defeat at Littledale Half Moon.

South Kirkby lost 5-0 at Scholes. Upton Brookside had a goal disallowed when being beaten 6-2 by Hunters Bar. Leon MacDonald and Paul Brown scored.
